Teachers challenged in teaching high school students how to balance and budget. Even the smartest student can struggle with basic financial literacy tasks such as saving and budgeting. Do you know how to budget?? Do you have a wishlist that you want or need to buy? If you want to learn how to budget and save effectively then, just keep reading!
Students or even everyone should know how to save and budget. Buy what you really need in life to survive. Don’t buy unnecessary things just because you want it or it is trending. Students should know to save and budget because if they don’t learn those skills they’ll face risk because of their uninformed money decisions that can also affect the rest of their lives.

These are some of the fun saving and budgeting activities to learn financial literacy:
1) Create a buying plan. Make a wishlist and strategies (example: from savings, salary, allowance etc.) on how will you save to buy that specific item you want to have.

2) Estimate how much you think an average person spends in one week.
3) Invest in making your money grow. Begin to save money in an account with compounding interest. It is basic for those who have cards that have high-interest rates that may earn more over time.
4) Understand how the needs and wants changed, how humankind’s lifestyles have changed over time.
5) Saving is a priority. It is important for students to practice paying themselves first.

6) Build the power of positive belief. Inspiration goes a long way. Ask yourself if you have 1 million what you will do to spend it? Then start reflecting, journal or create and share a vision board.

Saving and budgeting are challenging and very hard for those who usually spend their money anytime they want. But, saving and budgeting save you from buying unnecessary things and taking a loan that can also affect your entire life. Saving is important to your future. You’ll not know when you’ll need money to survive because you can’t predict the future.
Saving and budgeting is also important to my blog because it connect with my travel budget on how I spend my money wisely, in food and fare etc. Saving is also a must If I want to travel freely without problems of where to get money. So I’m persuading you to understand and apply saving and budgeting in your daily life.
